Scientist Day Was Fun

On scientist day I did lots of experiments my favourite one was static electricity because you rub the balloon on your head than put it on salt or little papercuts . My boring one was dissolving because I didn't get to do much I only did the timer. There was all kinds of parents helping us on our activities some of the experiments were interesting and surprising for me my funny one for me was Diving Currants because they go up and down really fast and slow at the same time when you add vinegar to it it is very interreting to me and others. theres a picture above

Sports

The best sport for me is T-ball because it is athletic than Tennis and Cricket is kind of good some
of the sports are good some people like other sports When you play T-ball you have a heavy bat to carry. The jumping thing when you play Tennis you can hit the Tennis rack really soft or just a ordinary throw Baseball is you hit the ball and the fielding team has to catch the balls the person who hits the ball has to run around the posts when the fielding team says Hows That the person has to stop running then it's the other persons turn to hit the ball you always swap teams .

Old Past

At the beenleigh historical village I learnt that in the olden days you don't have brand new things and you have to do a lot of work and jobs aroud the village. I saw lots of changes at the beenleigh historical village I saw the houses before they use to be brand new now they are rotton and old. The old coomera lock -up was freaky and scary it had a picture of a skeleton and a knights helmet and the bed was old and little bit dirty in the side of it. The reason that all of those items and houses have changed because it has been for years before it was brand new my faourite house was the Caroll house because it was more interesting than the other houses I went to. They lived different then us because they did'nt have any new buildings and they did'nt have much colours those days and much money some did but most did'nt.

Beans

3F is growing plants these are the names of the groups Parsley,Onions,Sweet Basil,Shallots,Broad beans,Broccoli those are the vegies and herbs we are growing in 3F when there all grown we are gonna make a salad with all of the vegies and herbs. My group the broad beans is growing very fast there about fifteen centimetres some are little.

speeches to grade 1

I taught one of the grade ones about healthy food.I learnt that when you are nervous you can use palm cards and I learnt that healthy food is good for you and exercise is good for you when you are sick.If you eat junk food alot you will not be healthy like a healthy sport.I learnt also that when you eat healthy food you get stronger when you eat healthy food and very nice teeth.

Ngutana-Lui centre

On Monday we went to the Ngutana-Lui centre. The people names were Uncle Wally, Lisa, Marlon, Robert. Uncle Wally showed us spears and some countries.Lisa showed us tools for woman and girls she took us to a bush walk too. Marlon let the girls and boys do a dance and we had face painting. Robert gave us a sheet to do it was about aboriginal symbols it was hard to do all of the symbols were emu tracks,kangaroo tracks,woman footprints,digging stick.When we were finished we did another symbol it was about a man symbol of a warrior. We learnt how to survive in the bushes or outside we saw leafs the first one is a soap leaf when you splash the water it haves bubbles coming out like shampoo. We had lunch where the tutors have there break. We went back to the bus and went back to school.

Apple Ain't Apples

Yesterday the Apples ain't Apples people came and taught us about fruit and vegetables she showed us the market she worked in and we get to eat apples.
